Hello to everyone,
My question is simple: Does the F_UDMI work? I first faced this problem a few months ago in Fluent 14.5.7. I did managed it by using C_UDMI function instead. I just moved to Fluent 15.0.0 hoping that F_UDMI would work in it, but no... C_UDMI does the job well, but in my case I really would like to use F_UDMI, because CFD-post only displays node values and not cell values. And for a face, nodes values are quite different from cell values... Please share your experience using F_UDMI. Regards, Rui |

What variable are you storing with F_UDMI and does it make physical sense to do so? Faces may attach to one or two cells depending on their type (boundary, interior, walls etc) which could complicate things.
