F_UDMI/F_UDSI can only be stored on boundary threads (e.g. walls, inlets, outlets) and not on "internal" face threads like interfaces. so can they be stored on wall/shadow walls?

yes, I think so. However, I'm not sure 100%
walls are not interiors
