Hi everyone,
I am simulating two phase flow, and I use UDF for boundary condition. The UDF contains "Define profile" and "Define execute at end" macros. There are two versions of Fluent on my computer, 19.2 and 2022, and their directory(installation drive) are the same. The UDF worked well for 19.2 version, but when I ran it on 2022 version, the following error occurred: Node 999999: Process 28016: Received signal SIGSEGV. ================================================== ============================ The fl process could not be started. ---------------------------------------------------- In documentation is said if you don't delete previous version, the directory of src/udf would not create, which is the case for me. For newer version, the directory didn't create. Could be this the cause? If yes, Should I delete previous version, and then reinstall new one? Also, I couldn't run the UDF in parallel in either version. I compiled it as interpreted. What is the cause? How Can I solve it? If I use compiled option, could it be helpful?
