Hi

When I view the pathline results of my steady state MRF Centrifugal Pump Fluid simulation, such as velocity pathlines, they are defined as either “escaped” or “incomplete” – even after solution convergence. I have attached an image of my latest results showing the data distribution of velocity pathlines tracked, escaped, aborted, trapped, evaporated and incomplete below.

My simulation is still in its early stages as I am still learning how to set it up correctly wrt to meshing, BC etc. I was wondering if this distribution of numbers tracked was typical of all simulations (including those created by experienced individuals) or is this an indication that something is seriously wrong with my simulation? Also, if possible I would like to know the reasoning behind the answer to my question so I can ensure I understand the significance of the tracking distribution (or at least begin to ).

Any insight to this? I observe similar problems (low completion).
