Hi,
I am developing a Cartesian grid generation program for Fluent, and I have generated a simple 2D Cartesian mesh with hanging nodes. It can be read well in Fluent. When, however, I check the mesh, 'mesh check failed' is happened. I got error messages with /mesh/check-verbosity [2] as below: ================================================= WARNING: face 8 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 9 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 10 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 11 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 12 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 13 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 14 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). WARNING: face 15 points to cell, but cell doesn't point to face (thread 8). 8 face(s) not in face lists of adjacent cells. ================================================= I do not understand why the mesh failed. I have attached the mesh file as well. Could you check my mesh file, and give an advice, please? |
