Problem description:
A cylinder(Al) at room temperature is injected into the liquid steel with a constant speed. During its injection, the liquid steel solidifies on itself a layer of the steel. This layer of shell may melt later due to the heat convection between the liquid/solid. I am doing this in Fluent with Solification/Melting Model. But it is difficulty to take account of moving boundary and especially the progressive solidification. Thx for ur help. Last edited by Raijin Thunderkeg; November 27, 2012 at 05:44. |
