when I was settin the pressure outlet, it required set the backflow total temperature. could anyone tell me what is that, and what s it use for, and how to set it?

BTW, I was modelling a water boiling in a pipe model. A mount of water flowing into a heating pipe and boiled to steam, then flow out. the problem I met whatever I change my setting the calculations were failure for the divergence. NEED HELP!!

Backflow temperature is the temperature of the fluid thats entering your outlet (reversed flow). To avoid this, you need to avoid reversed flow by extending your domain outlet

@sherry0fly i am doing the case similar to the case as yours. Boiling happens in inner pipe in a geometry of two co-axial pipes. Water in the annulus region remains water due to high pressure in the annulus region. Can you please tell me whether you have done this case or not ? I'm confused how to give the two operating pressures. (inner pipe has 2.2MPa and annulus region has 10MPa). How to specify these operating pressures in fluent ?
