ddmillar is on a distinguished road
My environment:

Ansys 14.5
Windows 8 64-bit
Intel Core i7-3517U
8 GB RAM

I recently changed a UDF for a project and ever since then I have been unable to open up Fluent from Workbench using parallel processing. Fluent begins to open but suddenly closes and gives me the message shown below:

"Exception of type 'Ansys.Fluent.Cortex.CortexNotAvailableException' was thrown"

I am able to successfully open and run Fluent using serial processing. However, in parallel processing, regardless of the number of processors used, I receive the message above.

I've tried renaming the file and restarting Ansys as well as restarting my computer. So far none of that has worked. Only processing in serial has been successful.

If you have any information that might help it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Dan
