Hi All:
I had installed a Linux Cluster using Mandrake 10. I am using this cluster to execute CFX and Fluent 6.2 in parallel. CFX is working fine with good performance. However I wasn't have a good experience with Fluent 6.2 in Parallel using Mandrake. So, I changed the distribuition and now we are using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (recommended by Fluent) and I am getting good results. So, my question is what can be different in this distribution that can effect the parallel performance of system? The serial performance is equal. I discard cluster configuration cuz CFX executes so fine. The only difference to CFX is that in Fluent I am using sockets. Thanks, Daniel Dotta |
