Can i ask you the settings you have used for the residuals? I have set them up to 1e-10 and with k-epsilon model the simulation converges in 2300 iterations... |

I usually disable residual targets for such simple simulations and run the cases until the residuals level out.

Is the below implementation equivalent to TKE = 1/2*[bar(u'u')+bar(v'v')+bar(w'w')]
0.5*magSqr(cmptAv(U-UMean)) It is not identical to the K I get from k-epsilon, but this a modelled term so I didn't know if they should be identical. Any feedback is greatly appreciated or any suggestions as how to solve for the resolved TKE in LES models or URANS. |
