Hi guys,
i'm using fluent to study combustion in a heated micro burner.burner is a cylindrical tube with inner diameter of 2mm and the mixture i use is stochiomeric methane-air. i've tried several mechanisms and mesh densities but i can't give desirable answer. would anybody help me?? |

I am also doing similar things here. In my case, I found that the finite rate/eddy dissipation model burn the fuel very slowly; while the eddy dissipation model would give out much higher temperature and more intensive reactions。。 Could you give out more details about my problem statement? I guess you may need an ignition source. |
