Hi There
I'm solivng a steady state diffusion and reaction porblem without flow equations in FLUENT. I'm uisng the pseudo-transient option in FLUENT in the solver section (P-V coupling). I saw that even for a diffusion/reaction problem it helps reducing the solver iteration significantly. I'm interested in the theory behind it, how it changes the species equations and then get the steady state result. The Fluent theory guide is a bit unclear on how it choses the time scale? From domain length and diffusivities? Thanks! |
