george_brickhouse is on a distinguished road
Hello,
I am modelling fires with fuels inlets.
There are two simulations: one is premixed methane-air release (three 50x50 cm inlets), another is diffusive propane release (multiple 5x5 mm inlets). Species: Eddy Dissipation model; turbulence: k-epsilon standard; radiation: P1.

Question is: can I use P1 for combustion in these cases? The highest temperature in fires are 2000-2200 K. Are these realistic?

Any help will be appreciated.
