nasir.iitd is on a distinguished road
Hello everybody,
I want to calculate y- rms velocity component in Fluent. The domain is rotating pipe and fluid is flowing thru it. RMS y-velocity can be calculated directly from unsteady statistics in fluent. But in my case that is coming erroneous. I want to calculate it using custom field function or user defined function using the following formula :
RMS-y-velocity=sqrt(mean((y-velocity)-(mean-y-velocity))^2); and I want that while calculating using this formula it should take y-velocity and mean-y-velocity from fluent.
Is there anyway to calculate it like this?
