When a calculation is being solved the command window shows the residual values for specific equations as well as the time it took to solve the specified iteration. When you close FLUENT after the calculation completes, and reload the solution data, the information shown in the command window is lost. How can you get a copy of the data that is displayed in the command window during the calculation? Thanks in advance.

Right click command window > Select All, then right click command window > Copy and then open a text editor and paste (shortcut: Ctrl + V).

I don't know how to load the output after the fact, but you can specify extra options for fluent to save the output to a text file.

If you use Workbench, it will automatically create "Solution.trn", a transcript of the command window. Section 3.11 of the Fluent User's Guide discusses how to create your own transcripts. I'm not sure if there's a convenient way to get residual data, but if it prints to the command window, you can pull it out of your transcript.
