Hello,
I am trying to see the time-dependent solution of a De Laval nozzle. I have a pressure inlet at 1 atm and a outlet at 10Pa, so it is basically an under-expanded nozzle. The idea is to see the gas jet formation and propagation into low pressure background gas. When I initialize the solution from the inlet it doesn't have a problem with convergence, but it is not what I like to see, as initially there is high pressure everywhere. When I initialize the solution from the outlet (which is what I want) the solution does not converge. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this problem? would dynamic mesh help? Thanks in advance. |
