Axisymmetric model

Hello every one,
I am modelling 2D flow through a nozzle by considering a axisymmetric mesh. My question is for axisymmetric model is it necessary to consider some elements in theta direction (ex. 3 degree section) or can we do it by considering only 2D mesh with axisymmetric boundary condition. Thank you in advance |
