Mass flow rate and velocity problem

I want to simulate fluid flow with some of solid particles in the pipeline. In order to minimize the length of my pipe, I use periodic condition for inlet and outlet of my pipe. I'm confused what mass flow rate I have to input in the periodic conditions, total mass flow (fluid+particle) or just the fluid. And for the injection, is it right if I input velocity of particles = 0 since the particles are carried by fluid with fluid velocity.
Sorry for my bad English I'm really appreciated for anybody reply. Thanks |
