Hi,
I can not seem to get the Y plus value towards 30 without making the mesh ridiculously sparse. The geometry is of a channel 40 mm high with two heated blocks in tandem downstream - the case is in 2 D and k epsilon with non equilibrium wall function. The inlet velocity is 5m/s - relatively high, Y plus is 6 to 10, to get Y plus close to 30 the grid is ridiculously sparse. Is there a need for Y plus to be 30 or will my results be adequate with Y plus 10. - is the non equilibrium wall function having this effect or the size of the geometry. regards |
