I am simulating a 2D turbine using 6DoF method in Ansys Fluent.
The goal is to find the moment coefficient of the turbine rotating at certain RPM in an inlet wind speed of 7m/s. I am using a All triangular mesh method with 413k elements, with minimum edge sizing of 0.05mm thus getting Skewness of 0.732.
In Ansys Fluent I am trying to simulate turbulent flow using K - Epsilon method and coupled solver. For first case I gave 100 rpm in Mesh motion(turbine is rotating at 100 rpm). The simulation study is supposed to run for 30 secs with time step size of 0.0001 sec.
After 100 iterations I get a negative cell volume error, to rectify this I reconfigured my mesh edge sizing from 0.05 to 1.2mm keeping the Time step size to 0.0001sec only.
I tried some method's to eliminate this error, Can anyone help me eliminating this error.
P.S snips of the fluent solver, mesh
