I have a two part question on how to set Reference Values.
First do I need to vary length and area for different monitors at different locations? If they do need to vary is there a way to do this in Fluent without running multiple cases or building my own post-processor? If I do have to vary them between monitors do I need to setup a UDF to do so? Second I could use some help deciding on what values to uses for Length and area of my geometry. I am working on a bellows design and am not sure what to use. One of the designs has a liner and the other does not. Generally the the length of the cavity opening is used for the characteristic length when solving for the Strouhal or Reynolds number, but I am trying to record pressure and drag data off of the walls of the cavities. |
