Hi guys;
I am modeling a non-premixed industrial combustion by ANSYS Fluent 17.
I am using Species-Non-Premixed PDF Model+DOI method for radiation.
I maintained default values of all under relaxation factors except following factors which I decreased them 0.05 to decrease resonances in my residual diagram:
Turbulent Viscosity, Energy, Temperature, Discrete Ordinates, Mean Mixture Fractions, Mixture Fraction Variance.
Here is my residual curve:

As you see there is no change in factors (except DOI curve). When can I consider my solution as finalized solution?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd Question:
Consider a furnace which is empty and its burner is working in high-fire. Is it possible for temperature of furnace to increase equal or even higher than adiabatic flame temperature (AFT)?
