Hello all

In the book "Lab-on-a-Chip Devices and Micro-Total Analysis Systems - A Practical Guide" by Jaime Castillo-León and Winnie E.Svendsen, there's a reference for a technique of reducing the overall dumping force of a 2d system so it provides better correlation with full 3d analysis.

I've attached the caption from the text bellow.

I'm simulating a quasi 3D system and thats exactly what I needed to complete the setup.

Does anyone know how to add the mensioned addional damping force to the setup?
I looked for "damping force" or "Viscosity damping" in Ansys Help but couldn't find any relevant info.

My sincere thanks to anyone who can help with this little but crucial intricacy.

Thanks!
