Hi all,

I am simulating the turbulent round jet air flow from a nozzle tube (5mm in diameter) with LES, and the results shows that the mean axial velocity along the centerline drops much faster compared with experimental data, can anyone give me some comments?

The inlet boundary is located at the nozzle tube outlet, and a mean velocity profile is specified according to the experimental data with UDF. SGS model is Smagorinsky-Lilly Model, and the spectral synthesizer is used to provide the fluctuation with a turbulent intensity of 5%. other settings are just given according to FLUENT manual.

Thank you!
