Hello all,

I have already run a series of simulations for my CFD problem in Fluent, unfortunately without selecting the "Data Sampling for Time Statistic" option

Now I urgently need to obtain the time-averaged data of a few variables (velocity, vorticity) along a line - which i drew in CFD-Post - of in the last 36 time steps. I have the dat.gz files of those time steps.

Is there a way in which I can avoid to manually save the data for every time step? It would be insanely time consuming!

Thank you in advance for any suggestions

Isn't it possible to export the time-averaged data on the lines? The time-averaged data show up as new variables with new names. You should be able to export those variables on any surface (the lines you created).

Thank you for your reply, even though I'm not sure i understand it. Maybe I haven't described my problem clearly!

I'm working in CFD Post, and I have drawn a line inside the domain for which I am able to obtain the contour plot of velocity and vorticity, for every single time step (I don't have time-averaged data, only the dat.gz files that i saved every N timesteps!).
Now what I need is the time-average of those contour plots. Do you know if there is a method to automate this process? It takes ages to export every single contour plot in excel and manually average them
