Hi everyone. I am a PhD student of SFU. I am trying to use Fluent SOFC module and I have gathered much information but there are some vital points still unanswered by the official user guide provided by the ANSYS. I would really appreciate it if you help me through this. This thread can help so many people working in the area and I have tried it to be as complete as possible. I wish some day it becomes an academic resource for all people who want to start using SOFC module.

1. Should we turn on the reactions in the cell zone conditions for anode and cathode porous zones even if we only have H2 as fuel? If yes, what are the input parameters for the reaction toolbox.

2. Should we turn on the source terms in the cell zone conditions? if yes, for which zones (for example porous zones, gas flow zones, current collector zone)? also which source terms for anode and cathode? I am trying H2 and H2O for anode and O2 for cathode. Should I also turn on the Mass source term?
