Hi everyone,
I want to study nucleate boiling phenomenon in an engine cylinder head, before that I tried a simple flow simulation similar to flow in a pipe, but the solution is not getting converged, what might be the problem?? the fluid volume extracted has more curvatures and sharp edges, and for flow analysis, just to see and to be sure of flow continuity I used following methods Models -- K-e, realizable, standard wall function Velocity inlet - 6 m/s pressure outlet Solution methods -- Simple - P-V coupling LS cell based, standard Pressure, 1- order upwind for momentum, T-KE, T-dissipation and the model have around 30 million nodes . no gravity effects are considered to make it simple, though the solution is not converging . Need your valuable suggestions, Thank you. Rag |
