UDS diffusivity problem

Dear Guys
I have a question regarding the UDS diffusivity .

I ran a steady analysis for an electric arc , and used a DEFINE_DIFFUSIVITY(electric conductivity) for a UDS for both fluid and solid and it was working fine . But when I converted to Unsteady analysis it was running but I did not see any diffusion for the UDS for the fluid , the diffusion was defined using data of electrical conductivity dependent on temperature and pressure .

Is there any difference between steady and unsteady analysis regarding the diffusivity ?

I tried to add unsteady term to the UDS but no change a, I dont know why?
