"Track" a body position

Hello Friends,
I am currently working in Vortex Induced Vibrations (VIV) on a cylinder. I am considering a 2d geometry, which means the cylinder is modeled as a circle immersed in a rectangular fluid domain. I wish to study the relation of inlet velocity vs. vibration amplitude, but for that I would need a way to "track" my circle position vs. time, or at least its center position. Do you know any way I could do that? Using a UDF maybe, what you guys think? Thank you for your time, Dbrin |
