Dear all,

I am quite new doing dynamic simulations... I have a dynamic problem to simulate which includes flow and heat transfer. I performed a unsteady state simulation where the time step was obtained considering the Courant number; however, the time step size seems to be small for this problem leading to a high number of time steps. I am searching for information about how can I select a different time step size based on heat transfer information such as some dimensionless parameters, but until now I do not find any relevant information...
Please anyone can help me... what criterion should be used to calculate and adjust the time step size for transient simulations?
