Hello,
i try to simulate a combustion problem. You can see the 8 burner in the bottom of the picture. I already calculated one burner in another domain and wrote a profile at the position where the 8 burners begin. I loaded the profile and set up the Bounday Conditions. I set up the X-,Y-, Z-Components, Temperature, k and omega and the species of the Boco to the profile. The problem is that the velocities of the bounday conditions don't fit with the profile. They are not the same in every burner and they are way too high. The top velocity in the profile is 8 m/s. But the interpolated velocity is over 100. Can anybody explain why this is happening? Seems like I have forgotten something. The first picture is the domain with the 8 burners, the second picture shows the x-velocity contours of the Boco. https://picload.org/view/rpppapgw/2.png.html https://picload.org/view/rpppaprr/x-vel.png.html Sufjanst |
