dilly is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I'm trying to model the sublimation of Iodine (any experience with solids that sublimate would be similar) in a tank which is heated, to be discharged in the gaseous phase through a valve. As far as I know, there are no modules that allow a direct treatment of sublimation in Fluent, but does anyone have any idea/experience of how to treat this problem?

As initial guesses, I would go for a melting + evaporation transient process, by including a heat flux to allow the process, but it does not reflect quite well the physics of the problem.

Thank you very much for any help with this
