Automatically hook SOURCE UDF from other UDF?

Hi all,
I am currently working on a sizable UDF module to automate some of my workflow (and more importantly, make the stuff I wrote more accessible to coworkers) I was wondering if there is a way to automatically hook a UDF via the DEFINE_EXECUTE_FROM_GUI macro. In this case, I've made a scheme file for a GUI element, where among other things the user can tick whether they want to set a substrate feed rate in a certain cell-zone. What I would like is that the proper UDFs are automatically hooked if the user ticks that button, to reduce the chance of errors. Conceptually, I see at least 3 options, but I don't know if any of these options are actually workable (or if there are other options I overlooked): - Run scheme + GUI-UDF, load other UDF directly from this UDF - Run a journal file from the GUI-UDF with the required hook commands - Identify the value of the necesarry rp-values directly in the scheme file, and load UDF or journal file from there. Did any of you face this issue before? (and solved it?) |
