Hi,
I have been trying to simulate a rotating airfoil using the Sliding Mesh Technique. But for some reason, I keep getting an error that says "cannot create surface from sliding interface zone". The simulation carries on but the flow is not uniform across the boundary of the rotating field containing the airfoil and the flow field with constant translational velocity. There is a very small separation between the rotating element and the flow field of 0.00001. I have kept the meshing at the boundaries of both the boundaries to be the same such that they match. I have also used mesh-interface and have created a contact region at the boundary. I have also attached a picture of this simulation. Please guide me in fixing this issue. Thanks Rakshit |
