Hello!
I run a 3d steady state case in Fluent by two different modes: First I try to run it at my desktop pc (intel processor, 4cpus, 12gb ram) and the solution seems to progress normally. The residuals decrease with no significant oscillaltions and the monitored variables get stabilized after some hundreds of iterations. Then I try to run my simulation in a batch mode at an SGE grid with 24 AMD cores per node machine. To do this, I set up my model at my pc and then I export the .cas file and transfer it to the SGE host. You can find attached the job (.sh) and journal (.jou) files I created. I submit the job to the host and the simulation starts running, till the first ten iterations when the following message appears: "# Divergence detected in AMG for pressure coupled, protective actions enabled! # Divergence detected in AMG for pressure coupled, temporarily solve with BCGSTAB!" Any idea where the problem is? It seems very strange to me because the .cas files are the same for both of the "run modes". Thank you in advance. Last edited by AlexRonto; October 3, 2017 at 12:52. |
