Dear Altruists,
I am doing a two-phase simulation for separating circulating tumor cell (CTC) from the blood. Blood is the primary phase, and CTC is the secondary phase. Here I am considering CTC as a non-newtonian fluid. I am confused about the value of consistency index, k. Last few days, I was looking for references on the same topic, but couldn't find any paper regarding this. Is there anyone who did this type of simulation and help me? Please see the image attached. Thanks in advanced. |

Hint: read up on power law fluids.

Thank you for suggestion.
I have gone through some articles about non newtonian power law. However, someone who has done simulation for cancer cell for non newtonian case could tell me the estimated value of consistency index, k. |
