Hello,
I have a simple geometry and case - transient turbulent flow through a pipe. I set the case as axisymmetric. The pipe is cooled by the air flow. Initial pipe temperature: 373 K, inlet temperature 303 K. Outside the pipe I set HTC=100 W/m2K and 303 K. I want to calculate the distribution of the HTC in space and in time. For this I divided the length by 20, and on the every of 20 section I want to calculate some average HTC. Which Fluent option for this should I choose? Regards |

Hi destroy
I try to help u Please, you make a line sample in the inner pipe, as long as the wall. Ur case is transient, so u should make a graphic to observe every time step u set. Thanks |

I dont understand what do you mean and how your advice will help me.
The main question is - what option should I choose? Reports->surface integrals-> ...?? There are many options for calculating the HTC and I dont know which is valid for my case. |
