Hi all,
I am trying to do a simulation for methane/ air combustion. is there any method to set the ignition temperature to 1900 K? I tried with a spark but result was very bad since it was not not possible to specify the ignition temperature. anyone can help with this? thanks |

What do you mean "set the ignition temperature to 1900K" and "bad results"?
1. You can define a region for temperature patch then patch high temperature to that area after initialization. ( 2000K should be enough) 2. If you are using steady state, make sure your species are initialized within reason. Good luck. |
