Problem with ignition in combustion

Hi all,
I am trying to do a simulation for methane/ air combustion.
is there any method to set the ignition temperature to 1900 K?
I tried with a spark but result was very bad since it was not not possible to specify the ignition temperature.

anyone can help with this?

What do you mean "set the ignition temperature to 1900K" and "bad results"?

1. You can define a region for temperature patch then patch high temperature to that area after initialization. ( 2000K should be enough)
2. If you are using steady state, make sure your species are initialized within reason.
