Hi gents,
I'd like to extrude the mesh beyond a boundary face for a certain distance. I have done this in the past with STAR-CCM+ and was wondering if something similar exists for Fluent. My guess is yes, and searching around in the guide it says you can go to mesh → modify-zones → extrude-face-zone-delta Except when I click over the Mesh tab I do not get these options. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Don't use your mouse. Type them into the Text-User-Interface (TUI)

I found that if I use serial mode and use the text command I can build the mesh.
However I got an error saying the mesh was not connected (face missing). Trying to run it gives the AMG solver issue, but it's most certainly due to the new mesh being disconnected. I tried mesh repair but was not successful. Is this normal? Did I miss something?
