I'm trying to calculate heat release for my combusting CFD model that utilizes the "methane-air-2step" chemistry with an eddy-dissipation model.
In order to get the heat release, I (think I) need the production rate of each species (5 in total). "Turbulent rate of reaction - eq1" and "turbulent rate of reaction - eqn2" are outputted, but not the individual species production rates are not outputted. Is there a way to get these values from Fluent somehow? I think I've figured out equations to calculate these values, but it would be much better if I could just pull them straight from Fluent. Thanks! |

Did you overlook the variable called heat release?

I didn't see a heat release variable in the list of outputted variables. That would be great if there was one though! Do you have a screenshot of where it is or how to obtain it?
