Hi All!

I am trying to simulate external flow analysis on Fluent. But when I try to open results on CFD-post and check force values, there is a huge difference between Fluent and Post. I get drag values i.e. 700 N on Fluent but CFD-Post give me at least 300k N. This problem appears only force values, wall-shear values. But I checked velocity values and there is no problem with it. Seems ok.

What is the problem? Am I miss something?

Thank you for help.

Kindly Regards.

Did you make sure that in both FLUENT & CFD- Post you are using the same surface ? if yes then maybe try exporting values from FLUENT and saving it a file and then open just a CFD-POST (Called Results on workbench) component and load it into it.

I dont have access to ANSYS now but in fluent you can either export files from file -> export or just before solving going to the report and i believe there is an export option where you tell FLUENT what output values you want and what format.

Hope that Helps
