Hi Everyone,

Could anyone help me to plot the theoretical velocity profile for a turbulent and laminar flow over flat plate ?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you

What do you mean by theoretical velocity profile?

If I am not mistaken, that's just a general fluid question rather than FLUENT. Anyways below is what I think you are looking for maybe?

Hi, yes it is. I got the velocity boundary profile from fluent for both. But for comparing it with theory, i thought i would plot the theoretical profile using the coordinates. I still stuck to get the coordinates though.

Thank you

Hi there

Well obviously there are lots of things it is dependent on. Both the theory and ansys. Such as the modeling you r using, mesh if you got a boundary layer good enough.
