Hello everyone,
I am running a slosh simulation for a tank with baffles. The tank is accelerated and then decelerated with 50% of its volume filled with liquid. I would like to know the impact force on the baffle. What I am thinking is that I can get the integral of the pressure over the baffle surface. I can also get the drag force. The strange thing is that the integral of static pressure is very close to the drag force. So, I am not sure how to deal with the result. Should I add them together or the drag force itself is just the impact of the liquid? Does anyone have ideas on this? |
