I have some problems with the UDF library in fluent. How can i solve the problem according the attached picture?
Please help me. |

as you may see, the problem is clearly described.
UDF library, that you are trying to use is not compiled for parallel regime. So you may do: 1. start fluent in 1 core regime 2. run fluent in parallel regime, recompile UDF best regards |

That library doesn't work in parallel. Either you make it work in parallel by rewriting it (probably not an option) or you run in serial.
Since v19? Fluent no longer has a serial mode by default. Even if you launch with 1 core it is actually running in parallel mode. The reason for this change because there's no reason to use serial anything in this day and age. I believe the command to start Fluent in vanilla serial mode is to launch it with the -t0 flag. It appears in a warning message if you are using the newer versions. If you are using an older version, then simply run fluent in serial mode. Last edited by LuckyTran; August 22, 2018 at 13:11. |
