Hello guys,
I have modelled porous core of intercooler and radiator for a vehicle. Also, heat exchanger module was activated and give there heat rejection rates with together primary and auxiliary fluid mass flow rate. Those cores releases heat and what should I give their value? positive or negative. In a similar way, there is also a core which has w/m3 and it release heat, too and its value in energy source term should be negative or positive?? Regards, Really appreciated!!! |

It's a source term. Positive means heat is generated (a source), negative means heat is taken away (a sink).
