Hello
Can anyone help me on how can I calculate OSI,Ig factor, Area averaged wall shear and time averaged wall shear in Ansys fluent? I'm doing my thesis on hemodynamic parameters on left coronary artery. If more details is needed kindly ask me Thank you |

Hi @Noushin , I am working on a similar FSI problem , and I want calculate TAWSS , OSI and RRT , I am currently calculating TAWSS in CFD post using expression ,and its working but can you help me with the expression of OSI ?
I am currently using this formula for OSI , let me know if its correct OSI = 0.5*(1-((abs((Wall Shear X.Trnavg)+(Wall Shear Y.Trnavg)+(Wall Shear Z.Trnavg)))/((abs(Wall Shear X.Trnavg))+(abs(Wall Shear Y.Trnavg))+(abs( Wall Shear Z.Trnavg))))) Warm regards |

The formula I used was, 0.5*(1-(sqrt(Wall Shear X.Trnavg^2+Wall Shear Y.Trnavg^2+Wall Shear Z.Trnavg^2)/Wall Shear.Trnavg )). I believe you can use this one, if do did not get your expected results using the other formula.
