Hi all,
I have been using Fluent for aircraft aerodynamics modelling for some time. But recently I encountered a problem of simualting aircraft dynamic derivatives. The question is simple, how to use Fluent calculating aricraft dynamic derivatives, especially in steady runs? Let's say an aircraft in a loop maneuver, how will you guys perform the setup? I've searched old threads, the existing posts provide no clear answers, e.g., unsteady rotation Aircraft dynamic stability derivatives and Aerodynamic Stability Derivatives Thanks in advance Sheng |

I notice a link here https://www.m4-engineering.com/dynam...ves-using-cfd/ , which is very related to this topic. The link suggests STARCCM and FUN3D. I suppose Fluent should be able to do the same thing. But I yet know how to perform same simulations as those described in the link.
