Hello Everyone
I am using a mass flow inlet and pressure outlet boundary condition for a U-shape pipe I am supplying a Heat-Flux to the bottom wall of the pipe to heat the working fluid at a steady state with an inlet pressure of 598000 pascals and mass flow rate of 3.7kg/m-s. operating pressure fixed = 0 and left Guage Pressure at the outlet as = 0 Assuming the output is not vent to air, please how can I determine pressure drop. Secondly, do I need to assign some value at the outlet Guage Pressure? because what am getting is zero (0) as output during simulation Thirdly, I am getting some values for the total pressure (2733). could this be the pressure drop? thank you |

What is the usage of inlet pressure in the mass flow inlet and pressure outlet boundary conditions? If you want to pass the required mass under the above inlet pressure, better to use pressure inlet and outlet BCs and check for the mass flow. pressure drop=inlet pressure-outlet pressure best regards rampada |
