I'm trying to model a liquid steel droplet landing on a steel surface and solidifying. I have the first part. liquid steel dropping onto the surface, but it doesn't seem to cool at all.
The starting and final position of the droplet makes sense and the heat seems to transfer to the air just fine, but even though the 'wall' has a temperature and heat transfer coefficients and such the steel drop doesn't seem to cool like I'd expect on contact with it. I'm probably just missing something dumb, but can someone help with this? |

have you use the solidification/melting model?
