In steady state analysis when we use the patch button which is under the initialization section , does it apply the conditions we specified as only initial condition which develops with time ? or as a constant condition which will never change and ansys will neglect computing?
how about transient too |

It is like an initial condition. It is functionally the same as initialization, but has some slightly lower-level controls, allowing you to change individual fields using cell registers.
It is not constant and can and will change. Patching overwrites the current field. Iterating (whether steady state or transient), modifies the fields and will update them. |
